Inspired by Open Access Week 2020 this course is designed to introduce you to the world of Open Access, and will demonstrate the importance and impact of Open Access research. Throughout this course we will debunk some Open Access myths, learn about the different types of Open Access, locate and evaluate Open Access journals, and have a discussion on the emerging trends and global initiatives in Open Access. Lastly, this course will introduce the Open Access button tool, which can be used to locate a free Open Access version of an article that is behind a paywall.
