Medline is a bibliographic database covering the fields of biomedical research and clinical sciences including medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, allied health and preclinical sciences. Medline’s citations and abstracts cover 5,000 medical journals published internationally. References are indexed using MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) from the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s controlled vocabulary.
